Location: Deltona has very easy access to Orlando and Sanford- Lake Mary which is considered North Orlando. The drive is only 10-15 minutes to mall, restaurants, and big box stores. Its close to Interstate 4 and 417 Expressway taking you directly to Sanford International Airport and Orlando International Airport.
Trails: Deltona’s own 5.7 mile 12 foot wide paved East Central Regional Trail starts at Green Springs Park, and connects into the Spring to Spring Trail in Debary, and Seminole County Trail. Eventually all the connecting trails will be a total of 52 miles from Enterprise to Titusville.
Shopping: Deltona is laid back. Its not overrun by traffic or miles of strip centers. You will have access to several grocery stores, banking, Lowes, and fast food. For large shopping centers, with big box stores, you have to travel 10-15 minutes to Orange City or Sanford where everything is.
No HOA: Deltona is the only area where you have such a high volume of homes that are NOT in an HOA.
Oversized Lots: In addition, you can get oversized lots. Most homes are 1/4 acre or greater. By comparison, homes in Metro Orlando are less than 1/4 of an acre.
Close to the Beach: Deltona is about 30 minutes from New Symrna Beach. New Symrna is one of Orlando’s East Coast Beaches and one of the very few you can actually ride your bike on.
Growth: Deltona is growing and building a new Halifax emergency room with up to 85 beds. In addition, there is new city being planned near Osteen.
