The middle school and high school received top scores and reviews from teachers, parents, and students.

At the southeastern corner of the community is a Publix supermarket and the Shoppes at Eastwood. There are several churches and other modern necessities. Just across Highway 408 north of the community is the Waterford Lakes Town Center with dozens of shops, restaurants, and more.

This community blends into the Eastward to Golf Community and several homes on the eastern side of the community may have access to the golf club.
