Bay Hill
Bay Hill is a community in Orange County just outside of Orlando and Windermere. It’s part of the Orlando Kissimmee Metro area and is generally located on either side of the Apopka Vineland Road in southwest Orange County. It’s home to about 4800 residents, all of which are in the Orange County public school district.

Bay Hill borders Dr. Philip, Lake Butler, and Windermere and is about 10 to 15 minutes to downtown Orlando and the international airport. Bay Hill is ranked #15 is one of the best suburbs in the Orlando area with an overall grade of an A by niche.com. Residents give it a for public schools, family diversity, nightlife, and entertaining. It receives a B for housing and has extremely low crime and high safety rating. It’s been touted as one of the best places to live in Florida and offers a suburban feel, lots of entertainment, restaurants, shops, and more. The majority of residents are homeowners. The median home value is about $450,000 with the median rent of about $1800.
Bay Hill takes up a lot of real estate on the east side of Lake to bet just north of Lake Sheen. The most prominent landmark is the Bay Hill Club & Lodge, touted one of the world’s best places to stay and play golf designed by Arnold Palmer. The club features over 270 acres along the shores of Butler Chain of Lakes with the Champion, Challenger, and Charger links featuring 27 holes of championship golf. Membership also includes access to four Har-Tru and two Deco-Turf tennis courts. The club features excellent and award-winning spa and salon as well as fitness centers with personal certified trainers offering classes for all fitness levels by highly trained instructors.
Condos can be found in the Bay Hill Apartments and Sanctuary at Bay Hill neighborhoods. Bay Hill Apartments is a complex of about forty condos built in the early 1970’s. Units in Bay Hill Apartments are a room 1400-1500 square feet. The Sanctuary at Bay Hill is a gated condo community with community pool, tennis, laundry, and playground. Homes in the Sanctuary at Bay Hill are 1000-1250 square feet and are priced $90,000-$300,000.
The Bay Hill Village neighborhood consists of villas around 2000 square feet. This neighborhood offers lighted tennis courts, community pool, clubhouse and back gate access right into the Bay Hill Club and Lodge. Homes in Bay Hill Village range from $400,000 to $700,000.
Communities offering larger homes and lakeside estates include North Bay, South Bay, and Bay Hill Cove. The North Bay and South Bay neighborhoods have homes constructed between 1980 and 2004. Homes in these neighborhoods start in the $250,000 range and go into the $3 million range for the larger lakeside homes. Bay Hill Cove welcomes residents with tree-lined streets homes in this neighborhood are between 2000 and 4000 square feet.

Emerson Pointe
Emerson Pointe is one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the Bay Hill area. The guard-gated entrance offers privacy to those who enjoy a quietly secluded lifestyle just miles from the center of Dr. Phillips and Orlando.
The neighborhood is located in the back of the residential area surrounding Bay Hill Golf and Country Club on a peninsula surrounded by Lake Chase and Lake Tibet two serene sand bottom lakes on the Butler Chain. All homes enjoy stunning lake views and nearly every homesite backs to the lakes, green belt, or golf course. Home sites also feature private drives and pools. Homes in the Emerson Pointe enclave of Bay Hill are built in the Mediterranean and Spanish styles. Each home is unique and offers the finest in luxury and quality. Homes in Emerson Pointe are in the $1million+ range.
Isle of Osprey
The Isle of Osprey is one of the most prestigious neighborhood enclaves of the Bay Hill Country Club. This neighborhood is a peninsula that sits in between Lake Blanche and Lake Chase on the Butler or Windermere Chain of Lakes. The 24-hour guard gated community is in one of the most sought-after areas to live in central Florida.
The neighborhood is small and peaceful only 25 homes are within the gates of Isle of Osprey with one road down the center. Every home features lakefront property on the shores of Lake Blanche and Lake Chase. Homes on the peninsula enjoy Bay Hill golf course views as well as Isleworth golf course views across the water. The homes in the Isle of Osprey are all sprawling estates on over acre lots with big sprawling oak trees that add to the serenity and privacy. Homes in the Isle of Osprey are 5,385 to 14,477 square feet and range in price from $2million to $5 million.
Schools
Residents are part of the Orange County public school district and are served by four elementary schools including Palm Lake, Dr. Phillips elementary, the Bay Meadows Elementary, and the Windermere elementary school. Most of Bay Hill is zoned to the Southwest middle school however, a small section is zoned to the Chain of Lakes middle school. All residents are assigned to the Dr. Phillips high school.
