Brighton Woods
Brighton Woods is a luxury community located in southeast Orlando off El Prado Ave bordering the Rio Pinar Country Club. Most of the homes were built around 2000 and have low HOA dues of around $66-$70 per month. Most homes sit on 1/3 acre and several homes have gas access for higher energy efficiency.
This small golf community consists of 92 homes offering convenience and prestige. Established in 1991, the course has hosted both the PGA Tour Citrus Open and the LPGA Tour Citrus Open.
Homes on the east side of the road have golf views and many homes offer backyard swimming pools and hot tubs. Properties are typically 3-5 bedrooms and between 2,500 and 5,000 square feet priced from $350,000 – $600,000.
This is a highly desirable neighborhood and there are usually less than 3-4 homes on the market at any time. It’s best to have a dedicated buyer’s agent on board to let you know the minute a new listing hits the market in Brighton Woods.
The Area
The Orange County School District and served by the Deerwood Elementary school, the Liberty Middle School, and the Colonial High School. These schools are between .7 and 3 miles away. Some students also attend the Cornerstone Charte Academy, about 7 miles from the community.
The closest conveniences are about 2-3 miles north along Lake Underhill Rd, the Publix Market and Rio Pinar Plaza or south alone Chickasaw Trail to the Chickasaw Trail shopping center and Walmart. This is not a walk-friendly community and it’s a cul-de-sac road, which means only residents are likely to be in the neighborhood but it is car-dependent.
The Walt Disney Resort and other local attractions are about 25 miles from Brighton Woods or about 40 minutes. The Florida Hospital East Orlando is just 2 miles north or about 5 minutes.
