Live Oak Estates is a neighborhood in the Lake Nona District of Orlando featuring 1-acre wooded homesites perfect for building your dream home or purchasing one of the resale custom homes. Live Oak Estates is just off of Lake Mary Jane Road in the southeast section of Lake Nona. It’s just east of Moss Park and includes a mix of existing resale homes and new construction properties and vacant lots. Currently, ICI Homes is building new homes in this community and there are several models to choose from.
Most of the existing homes have either 3 to 6 bedrooms and in sizes from 2800 ft.² to over 5000 ft.². Because each of these homes is unique, you’ll find custom designs and single-story homes dating back to the early 1990s as well as homes still being completed today. These homes are private and although it is not a gated entrance, you’re likely to only find guests and their residents driving along the roads. There are two entrances into the community on Lake Mary Jane Road, which is right across the street from Lake Mary Jane and Lake Hart.
This community is conveniently located a short drive to top-rated schools in the area and Medical City, the Orlando International Airport, and several shops and restaurants. Lake Nona is about 10 miles away and Disney World and Universal Studios are about 27 miles from Live Oak Estates. Those with school-age children will typically utilize the Moss Park elementary school, the Innovation middle school, and the Lake Nona high school. All are in the Orange County School District.
Residents are part of the NextDoor community and 69% of community members are homeowners. The average age is about 42 years old and there are approximately 200 residents within Live Oak Estates. People love this community for its peaceful setting, wildlife, wooded environment, well-maintained lots and established landscaping. You would think that Live Oak Estates is remote and to some extreme it is, but it’s just minutes from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Orlando and Lake Nona. The Orlando International Airport is just 10 minutes away and downtown Orlando is a quick 20-minute drive. It’s also close to Lake Nona’s town Center which features a Publix supermarket, retail space, and restaurants. Residents can also access Lake Mary Jane and Lake Hart to buy a canal and a beautiful 1500 acre Moss Park is just a few minutes away.
