Top Areas for Restaurants
Restaurants are on every corner in every town and city of Orlando, but there are specific areas that have large concentration of restaurants.
Sandlakes Restaurant Row: This located in Dr. Phillips on the west Sandlake Road offering over 80 restaurants over this small stretch. Many buyers want to live near this area to be close to the restaurants. Search for Dr. Phillips homes.
International Drive and Convention Area: This is located on the East side of I-4 and has numerous restaurants to serve, tourists, locals, and convention groups. International Drive is being redeveloped and several new restaurants have hit the Orlando food scene within the last year.
Winter Park: Winter Park’s Park Avenue is a quaint street with historic buildings, boutiques, brick paved streets with mature trees and a park. You can even take the Sunrail right to it. West Winter Park along 17-92 is growing with 5-6 more restaurants to its offerings. There is a concentration of French restaurants and bakeries in this area.
Theme Parks: Theme park hotels, Universal Studios City Walk and Disney Springs have loads of options. Disney Springs recently opened Frontera Fresco, Florida Kitchen and Southern Shine, BK Steakhouse, and Morimoto Asia. These areas have more Celebrity Chef restuarants, such as, Bluezoo, Kouzzina, Wolfgang Puck, Emerils Orlando and Emerils Tchoup, Normans to name a few.

Orlando has a restaurant to satisfy every taste bud. Fusion, Mexican, Indian, African, Korean, Gourmet, Vegan, Farm to Table, Barbeque, Steakhouses, Southern Food, Floridan, Gourmet Burgers, Gastropubs, Tapas, Desserts, Themed, Food Trucks. Orland0 is has many trained Chef inspired restuarants and farm to table restaurants are growing, too. Orlando is big test market for franchise restauarants. We could use more classic “mom and pop” restaurants as seen on Diners, Drive In, and Dives.
