Orange Tree is one of the largest golf communities in Orlando Florida sitting adjacent to the Dr. Phillips high school between Doctor Phillips Blvd., Turkey Lake Road, and just north of Wallace Road. Orange Tree Golf Club is one of the most challenging courses if not the most challenging course in Florida. It has been rumored that Tiger Woods will practice at Orange Tree when he is gearing up for a tour. The course is quiet and prestige with many narrow tree-lined greens. The last three holes form a loop around a lake known as “the loop.” Orange Tree was designed by Joe Lee in 1972.
The Orange Tree Country Club also offers many ways to practice and improve your game including putting greens, driving range, and a short game facility. Members can enjoy special events for men, women, and corporate gatherings. The clubhouse has a bar and banquet area that host frequent dining events and is great for weddings. Coming in May 2014 the Orange Tree Country Club will be expanding and offering a junior golf and fitness camp.
